site of the day

so i keep having ideas for new top 5 lists, but didn't wanna over-do it. istead of following that inclination to moderation, i created a new blog. while it's not exactly dedicated to top 5's, it's definitely in that general genre. (is "general genre" a redundancy?)

anyway, it's called "of the day," b/c i plan to update daily. wish me luck on that resolution!

actually, i think "general genre" is more of a contradiction that a redundancy, but hey, that's just me. i'll definitely check out your new blog.

speaking of similar-sounding words, d'ya think maybe negligible & negligee are related?

i don't know if they're contradictory, but they're definitely not redundant. 'genre' means gender or type, generally means, well, generally. i guess they can go together...like literature could be a general genre of art, and poetry is a more specific genre....

unless you considerng the blurring lines between genres...especially prose and poetry....

and to tell me & scoupe to start fighting you instead of each other, since you're the criminal mastermind :)
